Of Monsters and Men Enter Vibe-Raters

ICELAND TOUTS: Latest to enter HITSVibe-Raters chart are Universal Republic Icelandic six-piece folk-rockers Of Monsters and Men. The band has been called that country’s Arcade Fire crossed with Mumford & Sons, inspiring a U.S. bidding war after stateside airplay for the single, “Little Talks.” The song is making a huge move at PoMo and Triple A radio in front of 4/3 debut for album, My Head Is an Animal. Among the believers: SiriusXM Alt Nation and Spectrum, KITS, WRFF, WFNX, KNDD, KTCZ and WRNR, among others. VEVO premiered the video 2/2, with North American tour dates starting 3/14 at SXSW ending in Toronto 4/12. Scheduled Hollywood date is 3/21 at the Troubadour. For more, click here. (2/6p)
