A NIGHT OF EKSTACY AT IRVING’S CRIB: On Thursday evening, Irving “The Champ” Azoff hosted a cocktail party at his modest home in honor of Spotify frontman Daniel Ek, organized by super-flack Dawn Bridges. The place was thick with top label gunslingers and a few managers, who’d been invited to meet the Swedish boy wonder, but according to our spy, the main attraction was Irving himself, as many showed up primarily to kiss the ring of the #1 figure in the bible’s recent Power 100 Index. Ek was said to be bright but a bit boring as he spoke to a room of music biz movers and shakers who were obviously more interested in watching the intimate interplay of the other power brokers in the room. Our observer watched with jaw agape as Lyor Cohen summoned his posse of top execs with a snap of the fingers, whereupon they all made a hasty exit in lockstep behind their chieftain. (2/11p)
