Beats after Mog?

BEATS BUYING MOG? Beats Audio, the company best-known for creating the Beats by Dre headphones, is reportedly in talks to acquire streaming music-subscription service Mog, according to a report in Business Insider. Just a few weeks ago, Mog was said to be in talks to merge with Rhapsody. A report emerged last month that Mog was actively shopping itself, which was denied by CEO David Hyman, who added the company is "always engaged in conversations with our shareholders about all possible options." Giant phone company HTC acquired 51% of Beats Audio last year from founders Dre and Jimmy Iovine for $300 million and is working on a music service for its mobile devices, which Mog would provide without having to start from scratch.
