Mackay Upped at Universal Republic

MACKAY UPPED: Veteran A&R exec Tom Mackay has been promoted to EVP at Universal Republic, where he has served as EVP A&R since 2009. Said the label’s Monte and Avery Lipman in two-part harmony: "In these past three years, Tom has worked tirelessly on every aspect of the label's business. He remains incredibly devoted to each act on our roster, and his devotion has proved infectious across the company. Not only has he built an exceptional A&R team, but he's also pushed the entire company forward by working on innovative film and television projects that have expanded our collective influence immensely.
