One Direction for VEVO

ONE DIRECTION GETS A VEVO LIFT: Syco/Columbia’s red-hot boy band One Direction performed an exclusive showcase Sunday night at L.A.’s El Rey Theater for VEVO. The show will be available for on-demand viewing across the premium music video and entertainment platform in the next few weeks. The group has been the beneficiary of the site’s LIFT program, which has included artists such as Karmin, Jessie J, Tinie Tempah and more. Pictured just before the showcase the group hangs with VEVO SVP Doug McVehil (third from right) and manager Will Bloomfield (far right), who helped provide the ID for the boys to buy beers. (4/3a)
