MySpace Goes "One-Two-Watch"

WATCH MYSPACE: Myspace has launched a serialization of its highly successful music interview series, One-Two-Watch, featuring new and emerging artists. The new versio of the series debuts today with rising U.K. star Emeli Sandé, who won Critic’s Choice honors at the recent Brit Awards and will open for Coldplay’s U.S. tour this summer. Myspace lead curator Scott Vener, who was a music supervisor for Entourage, 90210 and How to Make it in America, feels the show will “help reactivate passive listeners around their passion for music.” EMI Music digital marketing chief Charlotte Robinson is hoping it will expose fans to Sandé’s music: “We are excited to see how the series can play its role in breaking our new artists and introducing them to audiences, thirsty for undiscovered music.” Previous successes for the program have included Alabama Shakes and Lana Del Rey.
