FOOD FOR THOUGHT: HITS Executive Editor Emeritus Toni Profera, a founder of the magazine, has published a cookbook, For the Love of Food…for the Love of You, featuring 25 recipes that “provide a delicious and healthy alternative to carbohydrate-heavy meals.” She will donate 100% of the profits from the first year of sales to www.urbanfarming.org, which is dedicated to ending hunger and empowering people to eat healthier through education and planting residential and community gardens.
