Bush Praised

PUSH FOR THE BUSH: Bush received kudos from the Worcester Telegram and Gazette for their Saturday night performance on the Nickelback tour at the local DCU Center, with Craig Semon writing the band “sounds better now than in its heyday.” Semon also said the 45-minute, eight-song set was “explosive… In fact, [Gavin] Rossdale, who is still strikingly handsome and buffed, now looks, sounds and acts like a bonafide rock star.” He pointed out the “standout” was a “grunge-friendly cover of the Beatles’ ‘Come Together,’ which had the eager-to-please Rossdale running in the audience making up for lost time.” (4/30a)
