Drake Fest in Toronto Hometown

DRAKE’S OCTOBERFEST IN AUGUST: The Drake-curated OVO (October’s Very Own) Fest will take place Aug. 5 at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre in his home town of Toronto. The third annual event will also feature special guests The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky and 2 Chainz. "Bringing together the Third Annual OVO Fest is such a milestone for me," said Drake. "A lot has happened over the last three years—a journey that I'm so grateful for—but it's always coming home and performing for my hometown that means the most. This year, we're going to bring it just like we do every year—with high energy and music at its best." In previous years, Drake has invited such performers as Jay-Z, Eminem and Stevie Wonder for cameo appearances. Tickets for the Live Nation-promoted fest go on sale this Saturday (6/9) at www.livenation.com. (6/4p)
