NBA Baller Beats has 30-track ST

ROCK & PICK & ROLL: The upcoming Kinect for Xbox 360 exclusive, NBA Baller Beats, emphasizes the role of music in the game, according to the promo materials, and to that end, Majesco Entertainment has licensed 30 tracks to serve as the game’s soundtrack. The 15 tracks announced so far, encompassing several genres and decades, include Queen’s “Another One Bites the Dust,” Young MC’s “Bust a Move,” Interpol’s “Obstacle 1,” Them Crooked Vultures’ “New Fang,” Skrillex’s “Bangarang,” Janelle Monae’s “Tightrope,” LMFAO’s unavoidable “Party Rock Anthem” and “C’mon Catch ’Em By Surprise” by Tiesto vs. Diplo f/Busta Rhymes. In the game—which features an in-game tutorial by Kenny “The Jet” Smith—players use an actual Spalding basketball in a full-body, motion-based game that tests their ball-handling skill, style and speed in time to the music. The NBA Baller Beats-and-ball bundle, which will retail for $59.99, launches on Sept. 11. (6/7a)
