Rabham goes to Prospect Park

ONE JEFF DESERVES ANOTHER: Prospect Park has confirmed that veteran manager and industry figure Jeff Rabhan will join the media and production company’s music division, reuniting him with Prospect Park’s Jeff Kwatinetz. The two Jeffs worked together at The Firm, where they built Kelly Clarkson’s career from Idol winner to pop star. In his new gig, Rabhan will focus on expanding the company as well as the management and development of new properties and clients. “I am excited to have the opportunity to work with Jeff again and continue our past success within the Music and Entertainment industries,” said Kwatinetz, while partner Peter Katsis described Rabhan as “a one-stop shop in the world of artist development. He can do it all from artist management, music journalism, record production, music publishing, consulting, and talent scouting. Said Rabhan, “I am thrilled to work with Jeff and the team at Prospect Park. I believe deeply in their efforts in cross-platform content creation and look forward to making a valuable contribution in all areas of the company." A 20-year industry veteran, Rabhan somehow managed to prosper despite a stint at the HITS cesspool around the turn of the century. Look for him to reunite with former management client Michelle Branch. He continues to serve as a Chair & Arts Professor at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. (6/8a)
