VH1 You Oughta Know Artists

YOU OUGHTA KNOW THIS: VH1 has tapped The Lumineers and Rebecca Ferguson as “You Oughta Know” artists for both July and August rather than the usual one apiece for a month each. The Rick Krim-led initiative has broken a number of artists since its inception. The Lumineers have been Top 5 at iTunes with their self-titled Dualtone Music album through INgrooves Fontana, which is taking off thanks to the hit track, “Ho Hey,” receiving multi-format airplay at Triple A and Alternative as well as plenty of exposure on that Bing TV campaign. X Factor U.K. runner-up Rebecca Ferguson’s debut album, Heaven, came out last week on Columbia Records, with the breaking single, “Nothing’s Real but Love." leading the charge. (6/11p)
