Stones Mark 50th

EVERYBODY MUST GET STONES: The Rolling Stones mark their 50th anniversary by posing in front of the famed Marquee Club on London’s Oxford Street for this pic by world-famous photographer Rankin. The venerable venue was the site of the band’s first-ever live performance July 12, 1962. The group also announced publication of the official Rolling Stones 50 coffee table book, published by Thames & Hudson (Hyperion in the U.S.). An exhibit of photos from the book will take place at London’s Somerset House starting Friday, while the Brett Morgan-directed documentary comes out in Nov. Unfortunately, there was no word yet on any kind of tour or live shows. (7/11p)
