Tyler explains bump of release date

FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD: Steven Tyler explained why Aerosmith’s Music From Another Dimension (Columbia) was bumped to Nov. 6 from Aug. 28 (see 7/12 item below) in an interview with WMMS Cleveland yesterday. "[The album is] pushed back because too many people are releasing those weeks... So we said, 'You know what? We've got the goods—ain't no doubt about it—we'll wait another couple of months." Nonetheless, the band went ahead with the VEVO debut of “Legendary Child,” the second track to appear from the upcoming album, produced by Jack Douglas, who helmed their ’70s classics. Aerosmith was in Cleveland on the band’s “Global Warming” tour with Cheap Trick. (7/13a)
