WEAKEND BOX OFFICE WRAP: Warner Bros.’ epic The Dark Knight Rises continues to top the box office numbers this weekend, adding another $36 million to bring its total to $354 million in three weeks, with a per-screen average of $8.5k. Sony’s Total Recall reboot of the Arnold Schwarzenegger classic based on the Philip K. Dick short story, earned $26 million in its first week for a per-screen average of $7.2k. Fox’s Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days debuted with $14.7m for a per-screen average of $4.3k. Fox’s Ice Age: Continental Drift finished #4 with $8.4m and a four-week total of $131m. Rounding out the Top 5 was another Fox entry, this one the Ben Stiller/Vince Vaughn/Jonah Hill comedy, The Watch, which added another $6 million to its total in its second week in theaters, which is now $25m.
