Trauma 2 Launches

TRAUMA THE SEQUEL: Ted Field is back in the record business. Trauma 2 Records is the new label from Field, Rob Kahane and former UMG exec Thomas E. van Dell, part of the new 360 model with Radar Pictures which will integrate the platforms of music, film and TV. Said Field: "The team that Radar has put together is capable of crossing artists into more than one entertainment vertical, with a close-knit, nimble staff that communicates opportunities between divisions in real time.” Trauma 2 has completed a deal with Jay Boberg for distribution through INgrooves Fontana that includes upstreaming to Republic. Also on staff will be SVP Promotion Mike Jacobs, VP Promotion Dawn Hood and VP WC Promotion David Jacobs. Added Mike: “I am so excited for the opportunity to go back to the deep end of the pool and return to the site of some of the best moments of my career.  With the new model that Ted, Rob and Tom have created, we will have huge successes and break new ground again. I have No Doubt this will succeed.” (8/5a)
