Joseph to IDJ A&R

LIZA WITH AN IDJ: Industry vet "There's a Hole in the Bucket, Dear" Liza Joseph has been appointed VP A&R Administration for Island Def Jam Music Group by EVP/Head of A&R Karen Kwak, to whom she’ll report. Based in Santa Monica, CA, Joseph will oversee and manage all administrative duties of the West Coast A&R department, including budgets for recording production and cost administration of projects. Added Kwak: “Liza is a perfect fit for the IDJ A&R team and I look forward to working closely with her as we continue to expand our A&R opportunities." Joseph spent eight years as Director of A&R Administration for Warner Bros. Records, and before that, as Executive Assistant to Tom Whalley at IGA and then in Burbank. She also spent three years at Sanctuary, Cher’s mail-order design catalog, where she rose to the post of COO. (8/9p)
