Love and Theft Go to #1

LOVING LOVE & THEFT: Vector's Jack Rovner checks in with news that RCA Nashville duo Love and Theft (Stephen Barker Liles and Eric Gunderson) have hit the #1 spot on the Hot Country Songs chart with their gold-certified single, “Angel Eyes,” the first from the pair’s self-titled album, which debuted in the Top 25 on the HITS Album chart. The music video for the song is rapidly approaching 2 million views on VEVO (below). The act is managed by Vector’s Michelle Owens and Ken Levitan, who had no comment on whether Bob Dylan is suing the group for nabbing their name from his album. (8/13p)
