VEVO Certified Program Grows

VEVO GETS CERTIFIED: VEVO’s Certified program, honoring the most viewed music videos of all time, has generated 20 million views since it launched on June 11, according to SVP Programming Doug McVehil, who developed and executive produces the program. The first four artists honored were Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and LMFAO, whose individual videos have all generated more than 100 milliion views. VEVO produced more than 50 pieces of original content to promote the artists and their videos, including interviews and commentary. The second set of Certified artists, including Taylor Swift and Alicia Keys, will be honored in November. Check the Certified award presentation to Perry below. (8/13p)
