THE $17 MILLION QUESTION: Mariah Carey would prefer to sit next to Lenny Kravitz rather than Nicki Minaj on the Idol judges’ panel next season, according to her tweet on Monday. "@AmericanIdol What's going on? need the info!!” she typed. “What about this combo? : ) if we could ever get him to do it!" But so far, Fox has remained mum on the reports of Minaj or anyone else joining the show. Earlier this month, Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers confirmed reports that he's in the running for a spot on the panel, TheWrap noted. "The rumors are true," Jonas tweeted at the time. "I am being considered to be a judge on American Idol, and it would be a dream come true if it happens." (8/22a)
