X Factor Ratings Stay Down

X FACTOR CONTINUES TO FALTER: It wasn’t just NBC’s The Voice which kept X Factor’s ratings down. Last night, Simon Cowell’s Fox music competition earned a rating of 3.2 in the adult 18-49 demo, bringing it within .2 of the show’s two-hour Wednesday night premiere. The first hour of X Factor scored a 3.1/10 in the demo, up 7% from the first hour of the season premiere, but down 6% from the entire Wednesday telecast. Glee opened its fourth season at 9 p.m. after X Factor, ticking up to a 3.3/9 share in its new time and day. That was down 13% from last season’s Tuesday night opener at 8 p.m., but up 14% from its season finale. (9/14p)
