Mumford Sets Record, Debuts #1

MUMFORDMANIA: Glassnote’s sophomore Mumford and Sons album, Babel, debuts at #1 on this week’s HITS Album chart with the top-selling bow of the year, cracking the magic 600k barrier. That’s the highest total since Drake’s Take Care debuted last November with 630k. The band’s debut, Sigh No More, already on the charts for a whopping 132 weeks, climbs back into the Top 10, its sales total up to 2.5 million. Check out the chart here. Congrats to Daniel Glass and his team for a career-defining moment. Strike up the banjos. (10/2p)
