JANICK JOINS UP: After getting out of his WMG deal early, John Janick is in the house today as the new President/COO of Interscope Geffen A&M, reporting directly to Jimmy Iovine as what many are calling the heir apparent to his boss. Insiders say his immediate agenda will be to expand the creative marketing and A&R of the storied label. His successful Fueled by Ramen indie produced the likes of Fall Out Boy, Paramore and Panic at the Disco, while he drove the marketing initiatives for Cee Lo Green and Bruno Mars at Atlantic and Elektra as Co-President of the latter.
