Jeff Lynne Visits Grammy Museum

LYNNE-SANITY: Celebrating the upcoming release of two albums and a screening of the documentary Reel to Reel: Mr. Blue Sky: The Story of Jeff Lynne and ELO, the veteran rocker visited the GrammyMuseum at L.A. Live, where he donated an old AmEx receipt from Roy Wood to its collection of memorabilia. Tom Petty and Joe Walsh were among those who showed up to offer support, with Grammy Foundation VP Scott Goldman serving as moderator. Lynne’s two upcoming releases on Frontiers Records, marking ELO’s 40th anniversary, include Long Wave, a tribute to songs which originally inspired him, and The Very Best of Electric Light Orchestra.
