STONES SET TO ROLL: The Rolling Stones will play their first concerts in five years, announcing four arena shows in London and New Jersey with a video message from Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood posted below. The dates include two apiece at London’s O2 Arena on Nov. 25 and 29, and at Newark’s Prudential Center on Dec. 13 and 15. Promoter Richard Branson had reportedly been seeking a $25 million guarantee for the four dates. The events will be organized in a partnership between Dainty Group and Virgin Live, a new initiative from Branson's Virgin empire. Also partnering with Dainty is independent TV production giant Endemol, which will co-manage the international digital rights to the Rolling Stones "50 and Counting" shows. Dates at Brooklyn’s new Barclays Center are still in the works, along with other possibilities. According to the Prudential website, tickets range from $95 to $750, plus fees, with availabilities at $450, $250 and $150. A new documentary, Crossfire Hurricane, will have its world premiere Thursday (10/18) at the BFI London Film Festival before bowing in the U.S. at the Zigfield Theater in N.Y. Nov. 13, two days before it airs on HBO. (10/15p)
