BMG inks pub deal with Darrell Brown

ONE GOOD DARRELL DESERVES ANOTHER: A-list writer/producer Darrell Brown, who’s shown his range by working with country acts like Keith Urban, Faith Hill, Rodney Foster and Josh Turner on the one hand, and Neil Young on the other, has inked a co-publishing deal with BMG Chrysalis Nashville. BMG will also administer Brown’s back catalog. Said BMG Nashville EVP Darrell Franklin: "Darrell is an incredibly gifted songwriter and producer. He brings great depth and energy to our roster in every genre, and is the type of writer that is never satisfied with what is happening in the moment, but always reaching forward. It’s an honor for our team to work with him" Brown is the producer and principal co-writer for LeAnn Rimes’ upcoming album, Spitfire, which also contains a couple of three-way collabs with fellow BMG Chrysalis writer Dan Wilson.
