Faxon to join ITV board

FAXON SIGHTING: Roger Faxon has found something to do, although his latest move has nothing to do with Warner Music or any other musical entity. The former EMI chief will join the board of U,K. TV network ITV as a non-executive director. Said Faxon in the announcement: "I am delighted to be joining ITV and working with Archie Norman and Adam Crozier. I look forward to contributing to the company's plans to revitalize this exciting British business…although it’s not as exciting as the British business that dumped me last month." Sitting on the ITV board will give Faxon something to do while he figures out how to spend that $8 million golden parachute. Prior to joining EMI Music Publishing in 1994, Faxon worked in film and TV with the Mount Co. and Lucasfilm. (10/23a)
