Fogerty Biography to be Published by Little, Brown

GOOD BOOK RISING: Add John Fogerty to the list of rock stars penning their biographies. The Creedence Clearwater Revival founder has inked with Little, Brown and Company for his memoir, slated for publication in 2014. Fogerty’s tale will interweave the facts of his life with the music that emerged from his personal joys and battles. including the pressures of sudden fame, his tumultuous relationships with his bandmates—including his brother, Tom—and his long and costly fight for creative freedom from his record label that went all the way to the Supreme Court. Fogerty’s new album, Wrote a Song for Everyone, is slated for release next year on Vanguard featuring collaborations with the Foo Fighters, My Morning Jacket, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Kid Rock and Dawes. Little, Brown acquired world rights from Laura Nolan at Paradigm Agency. The audiobook will be read by Fogerty and published simultaneously by Hachette Audio. (11/13p)
