iTUNES CHARTS: For the most part, things haven’t changed a whole lot since we last scanned the charts on Tuesday—Wiz Khalifa and Ke$ha are still rolling, Christmas albums from Michael Buble and Rod Stewart won’t be going anywhere for the rest of the month, nor will Lady A’s seasonal offering, which just made the leaderboard. The lone surprise is at the top of the singles chart, where Tamar Braxton has suddenly landed with her just-released track “Love and War.” So how’d that happen? Seems to have something to do with Braxton's Interscope labelmate Lady Gaga, who tweeted, ‘”Love & War’ She's Toni Braxton sister + her voice is BEYOND." She was just getting started. "MYSELF AND @tamarbraxtonher have been the best of friends since her husband Vincent discovered + signed me when I was 20,” Gaga explained. “SHE IS INCREDIBLE." Then came the coup de gras: "Buy 'Love And War' http://itunes.com/tamarbraxton It would mean a lot to me monsters if u would support her." That seemed to do the trick, although Braxton did perform that song on her reality show Tamar & Vince. Twitter and TV—a potent combination. (12/7a)
