Shuggie Gets Legacy Treatment

SEARCHING FOR SHUGGIE MAN: Legendary guitar slinger Shuggie Otis performed at the Highline Ballroom in N.Y. earlier this month, his first live area appearance in 30 years, playing for an SRO crowd. Otis is set to re-release his classic album Information along with the brand-new Wings of Love, which includes 14 unreleased tracks recorded between 1975-2000 on Sony’s Legacy label. Pictured claiming they didn’t realize Otis has been huge in South Africa all these years are (l-r) The Hold Steady’s Ted Kubler, Otis and Legacy Recordings President Adam Block. (1/25p)
