Jamila Johnson Passes

REACHING OUT: Condolences go out to Island Def Jam SVP A&R Chris Anokute, whose sister-in-law Jamila Johnson passed away from a brain aneurysm at the age of 34 on Jan. 23. In lieu of flowers or gifts, Chris is directing people here for donations to help with her husband and best friend of 14 years, Matthew, and two children, Gabi and Jayden, for any unforeseen medical expenses. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Chris and his family. (1/28a)
