Rick Ross Crashes Car After Shooting

WORST BIRTHDAY EVER: The L.A. Times has confirmed reports that hip-hop star Rick Ross was driving a car targeted by an unknown gunman armed with an AK-47 early this morning in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Police are hunting for the shooter, who riddled Ross' Rolls with bullets before the rapper crashed it into a building. Neither Ross nor his female passenger were harmed. The incident reportedly followed Ross' birthday celebration at a Miami club. The Times notes that multiple chapters of the Gangster Disciples have issued threats against Ross; whether the GDs are behind this morning's shooting has yet to be determined. (1/28p)
