Ida Maria Showcase at Soho House

THEY ONCE MET A GIRL NAMED MARIA: Lava Records artist Ida Maria performed for a packed room at West Hollywood’s Soho House recently, presented by sonic branding company Man Made Music. The VIP crowd included executives from Univision, Lava, Interscope Geffen A&M and Downtown Music, among others. The Norwegian rock singer-songwriter was recently signed to Lava by Jason Flom, and is currently working on the follow-up to her 2010 album Katla, with producer Anthony Rossomando, who accompanied her on guitar with Stefan Tornby. Seen charging their drinks to Flom’s black AmEx card are (l-r): Man Made Music VP Business Development & Partnerships Allison Meiresonne, Flom, Ida Maria, Man Made Director of Business Development and Music Strategy Natalia Romiszewski and Founder Joel Beckerman, who particularly enjoys hiring people whose names are a bitch to spell.
