Loud & Proud joins RED

LOUD, PROUD AND RED: Loud & Proud Records, which specializes in partnerships with veteran artists, has signed an exclusive, multi-year distribution, marketing and label-services deal with Sony-owned RED Distribution, which will also furnish marketing, promo, PR and ad resources via its in-house agency, 'stache media. L&P previously went through its erstwhile JV partner, Roadrunner. "One of the main attractions of moving to RED was the opportunity to work with President Bob Morelli again," said the label's owner/prexy, Tom Lipsky, who noted that they'd previously worked together when Lipsky oversaw CMC International Records and Sanctuary Records. "He has a genuine passion for artists and progressive approach to sales and marketing." Said Morelli, "Tom and I have been colleagues for many years, and I've always been impressed with his musical sensibility, his artist-friendly approach and his ability to partner with great veteran artists and market them in a very contemporary manner."
