Divine Fits in JCP spot

THAT WOULD INDEED BE NICE: Here’s a 30-second burst of wonderfulness that does the trick for both our eyes and ears. It’s the JCP bra-and-panties spot featuring Divine Fits’ “Would That Not Be Nice,” which has been popping up here and there on the networks since making its debut during the Oscars telecast. JCP may not be doing very well, but the retail chain has excellent taste in bands and lingerie models. And one other thing—why isn’t this song a smash? What a barrage of hooks. (3/7a)
