Beyonce posts new track
WHO KNOWLES WHAT SHE’S UP TO: Right on the heels of Daft Punk’s helmet teases, Beyoncé has gone all mysterioso as well, posting a new track—her first new music since 4 in 2011—on her website, in what might be a preview of what she’s cooking up for her next release, though it’s obviously not a single. The eerie, heavily treated "Bow Down / I Been On" was produced by Houston's Hit-Boy, who also worked on Kanye West's "Clique." We know that because we read it on the L.A. Times’ Ministry of Gossip blog, which further notes that the new song heralds the return of Queen Bey and Sasha Fierce. She also posted a childhood picture of herself dressed up as a queen and posing in front of a mantle full of trophies, presumably her own. It’ll be interesting to see what Ms. Carter does next.
