The Voice Ratings Still Impressive

VOICE SPEAKS UP: Last night’s fourth season premiere of NBC’s The Voice kicked off with a 4.7/12-share in adults 18-49, for a total of 13.37 million viewers, peaking in the 9:30-10 p.m. slot with a 5.2 and 14.48 million viewers. The show had an impressive 8.7 overnight metered market. The two-hour "Blind Audition" debut was up 12% from last fall’s Season 3 premiere on Sept. 10. Last night’s debut was down 30% from its regular time slot bow on Feb. 6, 2012, when it received a 6.7 rating. The show’s Super Bowl-fueled Feb. 5, 2012 show garnered a 16.3 rating. This year, the show features new coaches Shakira and Usher alongside Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. (3/26p)
