FAME GAME: Newest members Heart, Randy Newman, Public Enemy and Rush will all perform at the 28th annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony April 18 at the Nokia Theater in L.A., which will also honor Albert King and Donna Summer, along with Lou Adler and Quincy Jones, who will receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award for Lifetime Achievement. Among those expected to perform as well are Usher, who’ll honor Quincy; Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready and Alice in Chains' Jerry Cantrell, two fellow Pacific Northwesterners who’ll play with Heart; Carole King, with a tribute to Adler, and Jackson Browne and John Fogerty, accompanying Newman. Chris Cornell will induct Heart, while Spike Lee and Harry Belafonte will do the honors for Public Enemy, with Cheech & Chong presenting Adler with his award. Previously announced performers include John Mayer and Gary Clark Jr. for Albert King (with Mayer inducting the blues legend), as well as Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Hudson for Summer.
