Add late night: Conan, Letterman

ADD LATE NIGHT: Interestingly, Conan O’Brien, who trails his broadcast-network rivals in ratings, has compiled an impressively strong digital audience of 465k YouTube subscribers, nearly twice as many as Fallon, the Tonight Show heir apparent. That, no doubt, motivated TBS yesterday to re-sign O’Brien through November 2015. David Letterman’s presence is harder to discern because his videos appear on CBS’s YouTube channel, not exclusively reserved for his show. But Letterman has just 58k Twitter followers compared to Kimmel’s 2.4 million and O’Brien’s and Fallon’s more than 8 million apiece. “Late-night shows used to be on the air for an hour—now it’s a 24-hour gig,” a source close to O’Brien’s social media team told Sloane.
