Roc Nation to UMG?

ROC ROLLING TO UNIVERSAL? Jay-Z’s Roc Nation is said to be headed to UMG. But rumor has it that a Rihanna renegotiation has also taken place, and that her records, as well as future albums from Jay-Z, will be part of the new deal. If the deal does go down, which of the four major UMG label groups will Roc Nation records be released through? Rihanna has had a long and extremely successful relationship with Steve Bartels and IDJ, while Jay-Z has also had great success with that team of players. Sony is believed to be keeping some of the artists released on Roc Nation through Columbia during the term of that deal. (4/4a)
