Snoop-Miley track debuts

NO BUTTS ABOUT IT: Snoop Lion’s "Ashtrays and Heartbreaks," the lead track from his April 23 RCA album Reincarnated—improbably and prominently featuring Miley Cyrus—has made its debut, and it’s as dreadlock-goofy as you hoped it would be. Produced by Major Lazer and Ariel Rechtshaid (co-produced by Dre Skull), the track also features Stewart Copeland on trademark Police percussion. Available for pre-order on iTunes, Reincarnated, executive produced by Diplo and the Major Lazer production team, will be released in conjunction with (get this) Berhane Sound System, Mad Decent, Vice Music and RCA—partner up, dudes. Other featured guestsinclude Drake, Chris Brown, T.I., Busta Rhymes, Akon, Rita Ora and dancehall stars Popcaan and Mavado. The best thing about the project is that Snoop has found a religion he can really sink his lungs into. The spliff as sacrament?! Rasta on, mon. (4/5a)
