MAROON AT THE TOP’: Maroon 5 front-man and The Voice star Adam Levine will be honored by BMI at its 61st annual Pop Awards with the President’s Award for outstanding achievement in songwriting and his global impact on pop culture and the entertainment industry, May 14, at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, where the year’s top Pop songwriters will also be spotlighted. “Adam has mastered the art of writing unforgettable pop and rock hits. Captivating music lovers with his undeniable and memorable lyrics and catchy melodies, Adam's pop anthems and heartfelt ballads are defining an exciting brand of global stardom” said the org’s VP/GM Writer/Publisher Relations L.A. Barbara Cane. Past honorees include Juanes, Kike Santander, Taylor Swift, Emilio and Gloria Estefan, Pitbull and Willie Nelson. The evening will be co- hosted by President/CEO Del Bryant and Cane.
