Sony/ATV at ACMs

YEE-HAW! (MUSIC-PUBLISHING EDITION): Sony/ATV Music Publishing had plenty of reasons to pop the champagne--or a whole mess o' longnecks, at least--after last night's Academy of Country Music (ACM) show, which featured big perfs from the pubco's Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Eric Church and Taylor Swift. With Church earning Entertainer and Album of the Year, Shelton and Lambert honored as co-authors of Song and Single of the Year "Over You," and Writer of the Year going to Dallas Davidson, Sony/ATV had a piece of every major trophy. Big ups to chieftain Marty Bandier, Nashville prez Troy Tomlinson and their teams. In a related story, several viewers of the broadcast were surprised to learn that ATV doesn't stand for "all-terrain vehicle." (4/8p)
