Spotify revs to labels

FUN WITH NUMBERS: Spotify has become the labels’ second biggest digital revenue source, primarily as a result of the huge licensing fees it pays. Since Spotify launched in the U.S. 21 months ago, the music business as a whole has reportedly collected $250-300m a year in licensing fees from Daniel Ek and company. (4/10a)
