SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE: Garett Michaels returns to the Seattle market as PD at Entercom’s Alternative outlet KNDD The End, replacing Mike Kaplan, who takes over as PD at Clear Channel’s KYSR L.A. next month. Veteran programmer Michaels most recently launched and programmed Alternative KBZT in San Diego after stops at KYPT Seattle, WPLT Detroit and WPLY Philadelphia. Michaels will report to VP Programming Dave Richards, who will take over the programming of Triple A sister station KMTT. “The extensive journey to discover my next career opportunity has come to The End,” said Michaels. “I’m hoping to make it a new beginning.
