Live Nation Summer Tours Get Underway

LIVE NATION UNDER A GROOVE: Live Nation announced three big tours this morning, topped by Bob Dylan going out with Wilco and My Morning Jacket on the Americanarama Festival of Music, which broke on Dylan’s website yesterday with the slogan, “Meet me there—Beat me there.” Additional artists include the Richard Thompson Electric Trio and Ryan Bingham. The 26 dates will get underway on June 26 in West Palm Beach, FL, and wrap up August 4 in Mountain View, CA. The fourth annual Rockstar Energy UPROAR Festival, featuring Alice In Chains, Jane’s Addiction and Coheed and Cambria, gets underway August 9 in Scranton, PA, and concludes at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, CA, Sept. 15. Finally, the second annual, 20-city Under the Influence of Music Tour, headlined by Wiz Khalifa and A$AP Rocky, also featuring B.o.B., Trinidad Jame$, Joey Bada$$ & Pro Era and Berner, launches July 17 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View and will culminate Aug. 11 at Cincinnati’s Riverbend Music Center.
