GLASS IN THE HOUSE: Look for Glassnote CEO/founder Daniel Glass to receive the “Visionary Award” from performing rights org SESAC at its upcoming Pop Music Awards, May 13, at the New York Public Library. The honor will be presented “in recognition of his tireless dedication to songwriters and immeasurable contributions to the music industry.” And, oh yeah, he can get them tickets to the upcoming Phoenix tour. "I've always had a love of music and deep respect for ‘the song’ and songwriters, beginning as a 10-year-old who spent all his allowance buying 45s at Korvettes and S. Klein's," said Daniel. "I am deeply honored to receive this SESAC Award. My life has always revolved around family and music." SESAC has previously presented awards to the likes of Bob Dylan, Neil Diamond, Lady Antebellum, Alice In Chains, Mumford & Sons, Chrisette Michele, Bryan-Michael Cox, Kasseem "Swizz Beatz" Dean and Nate "Danja" Hills, among many others.
