Katharine McPhee Smash Follow-Up

ONE MORE SMASH: Smash star Katharine McPhee has begun recording her debut album for Columbia Records. The American Idol alum recently returned to the music competition for a special duet with Ryan Tedder on OneRepublic’s hit single, “If I Lose Myself” (below). McPhee, managed by CAM’s Jordan Feldstein, is collaborating with top songwriters Linda Perry, Salaam Remi, Sia and Tedder. McPhee’s self-titled debut bowed on the chart at #2, fueled by the hit single, “Over the Rainbow/My Destiny.” Her second release, Unbroken, featured the single, “Had It All.” McPhee has co-starred on episodes of CSI: NY, Community and Family Guy. She was featured on two hit PBS specials, Foster and Friends and Chris Botti in Boston, alongside Sting, Andrea Bocelli and John Mayer. (4/24p)
