Mars litho to benefit Boston

WITH LOVE FROM MARS: Thirty Seconds to Mars will offer a limited-edition lithograph honoring the city of Boston at its show there tomorrow evening, proceeds from the sale of which will benefit The One Fund Boston, aiding those most affected by the Marathon attack. The performance marks the first date on the Church of Mars tour, promoting new album Love Lust Faith + Dreams, which streets May 21. "This tragedy hits close to home especially as my brother and I lived in Massachusetts and spent weekends in Boston off and on as children," reads a statement from the band's Jared Leto. "That brief but special time will always be a part of who we are. We hope this small gesture helps in some way and lets the people of Boston know we are thinking of them and that we care. We are so proud to be able to play our very first show for this new album in Boston." (5/6p)
