A SHOT OF JMSN: Label interest in Detroit-bred singer-songwriter-producer JMSN is intensifying. The William Morris Endeavor-repped, Brandon Phelps-managed artist, seen here performing at the Red Bull Studios, is best known for his contributions to several tracks by Kendrick Lamar, as well as featured spots on cuts by Game and Tyga. JMSN (who coined the term "hippie R&B" to describe his sound) is touring now in support of his self-released album, Priscilla (on White Room Records, also overseen by Phelps), which dropped last year; he'll open for PoMo champs The Neighbourhood on the road in July. More updates on this derby as we get 'em. (5/6p)
